What exactly is spring cleaning….well, simply the act of going above and beyond regular cleaning. Wall washing, pantry cleaning, purging items we no longer need, and the list goes on and on….. There is no right or wrong when it comes to spring cleaning…….it’s what works for you! Some jobs may be part of one’s regular cleaning, while others prefer to leave for ‘spring’ cleaning. Do you prefer one room at a time, or all windows orl blinds at once? It doesn’t matter…’s what works for YOU!

We don’t claim to be experts, so instead, we have researched and are offering some of the best tips, and links, we could find, and maybe a few tips from us as well!

  • Work top to bottom.
  • Make a List of the rooms, including all areas of the house, windows, blinds, screens, curtains, vent covers, baseboards, trash cans, etc (’s your list, so some things might be considered regular cleaning for some!)
  • Assign jobs to the kids, but involve them in the discussion (and don’t let them say no!).
  • Be prepared - have all the supplies you will require for each job

TIP - If the tops of your cupboards are exposed, use wax paper to line them after they have been wiped. Next time you clean, simply roll up and discard of the wax paper. Wiping will be a breeze and then add fresh wax paper!
