The Ehrlo Sport Venture program (Sport Venture) is a community outreach program that aims to provide inner-city youth and families with control of, and access to, recreation programs by reducing the barriers to participation in sport and physical activity. Sport Venture lends sport equipment through the Ehrlo Sport Venture Library, and currently offers four free drop-in sports leagues:
Hockey (ages 12 and under and 13-18)
Basketball (ages 8-12 and ages 13-18)
Soccer (ages 8-18)
Football (ages 8-18)
EHRLO SPORT LIBRARY
Ehrlo Sport Library loans sports equipment to more than 100 different community groups, organizations, and individuals for the purpose of facilitating sports within Regina. Groups and individuals may access the library’s extensive inventory by becoming a registered patron of the library. By returning equipment on-time and in good condition, patrons may continue to request equipment at no charge.
Ehrlo Sport Venture relies on local businesses and individuals to fund our programs and contribute quality used sporting goods to build our library inventory. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or have equipment to donate, please call (306) 751-2411, or stop by the library during regular business hours. Used hockey equipment may also be dropped off at any one of the City of Regina indoor arenas.
