For players born 2003-2011 (Squirt through Bantam 2003-2011). Learn from the players who have gone where your child wants to go! Let current & former WHL, NCAA & NHL signed players show your child the crucial skills required to play at the next level. Led by NHL signed Jesse Gabrielle, currently of the Memorial Cup hosting Regina Pats and features 2nd round NHL draft pick and NCAA super star Wade Allison, future Regina Pat super star Cole Dubinsky and many more current and former WHL stars and NHL signed players!
The Jesse Gabrielle Hockey School consists of 3 clinics. You can can choose to attend 1, 2 or all 3 clinics.
SPEED ACADEMY (JUNE 25-29 - EVENINGS)
Speed Academy is a five-day program (Mon-Fri) with 1 of on-ice training each day. Speed Academy is run at an extremely high level of intensity pushing the skater well beyond their comfort zone, combining power skating with over speed training, learning proper technique will produce a player that will have much more speed, quickness and agility. SUPER SKILLS & SHOOTING (JULY 2-6 - MORNINGS)
Focus is on skills that actually translate to game situations. In this clinic stick handling, passing and shooting. It doesn't matter how great a skater you are if you can't handle the puck, so our program will help your player learn how to handle the puck through good quality instruction and repetition. BATTLE CAMP (JULY 2-6 - AFTERNOONS)
Focus is on concepts and skill sets that actually translate to game situations. Players will learn how to win one on one puck competition by using positioning, angling and other techniques in competing drills and combat games. We emphasize being strong on the stick, battling on the right side of the puck and puck protection techniques that allows players to maintain puck control under pressure from a defender.
