Music Together is a research-based, developmentally correct and internationally recognized early music and movement program. We offer classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. The family-like setting of Music Together's mixed-age classes enables siblings to attend together, creating an ideal learning environment where infants, toddlers, and preschoolers can freely participate at their own levels. Our programs also offer:

  • All of our teachers are fully trained and registered Music Together teachers, professional Early Childhood Educators and musicians. The Centre Director and Registered Music Together Teacher Specialist, Max (Maxine Hanofski) is an Early Childhood Educator, Musician, Piano Teacher, Artist, Atelierista, Creative Arts Keynote Speaker and Workshop Facilitator in the early learning field, and a Member of the Saskatchewan Early Learning Leaders Caucus
  • Opportunities to create and improvise
  • A relaxed, family atmosphere
  • Families receive take-home materials each semester: Song book, 2 CDs, free music download, Musical Growth Chart, Parent Education Event, newsletters and more . . .
  • Visit here for more information on our classes.

CLASSES

The Music Together curriculum includes a mix of original songs and traditional tunes from the folk, jazz, and world music traditions in a variety of tonalities and meters. By presenting a range of musical styles from lyrical to blues, from folk to boogie, Music Together provides children with a rich music experience that stimulates and supports their growing music skills and understanding.

Music Together Mixed Ages - This is the essential Music Together class, one that a child can attend from newborn to Kindergarten Age. Each child participates at his or her own developmental level in singing, moving, chanting, listening, observing, or exploring musical instruments. Click here for more information.

Baby Classes - Every child’s development benefits from early exposure to music and movement. Because the early months are so important, Music Together offers two options for babies ages eight months and younger. Babies are always welcome to attend a Mixed Ages Class, whether registered on their own or attending free with an older brother or sister. Parents with infants may also register for the special “Babies Class,” which is offered as a one-semester introduction to Music Together, after which babies will attend mixed-age classes.
