The WRGC has space available to rent in our facility located at 520 E 12th Avenue, Unit B, Regina, Saskatchewan near the Leader Post in the east end of Regina. In addition to the gym, the facility has the following:
Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club (WRGC) offers both recreational and competitive programming in Regina, Dysart, Indian Head and Bulyea for ages 12 months to seniors! Rhythmic Gymnastics has been regarded as the world’s most beautiful Olympic sport. It combines the beauty of expressive choreographed movements with the visual excitement of colourful apparatus such as ribbons, balls, hoops, clubs, or objects like scarves. OUR RECREATION PROGRAMS - No rhythmic gymnastics experience required
ACTIVE START - programs for boys and girls 12months to 5 years old. These classes are 45 min in length and are offered both in a 10 week sessions Fall, Winter and Spring or for the older children in a 36 weeks September to June program. Agility, balance and coordination are taught through fun and games and target skills such as running, jumping, tossing/catching, balancing and body awareness. This program will ensure children acquire basic movement skills, building towards more complex skills, and laying a foundation for lifelong physical activity. Active Start classes include Baby Steps, Stepping Stones, Next Steps and Rhythmic Steps.
PERFORMANCE - programs for children ages 6 years old to Adult. These classes are 1-1.5 hours in length and run for 36 weeks September to June. Boys and girls train together in a group environment learning a choreographed routine which they perform at the Winter Show. These athletes also have a role in the Yearend Production. Athletes 16 years to adult can join an alumni team which is a group interested in attending the International Gymnaestrada in 2019. CLICK HERE for more information on Performance programming.
RHYTHM CAT - a pre competitive program for athletes 6 years and older. This program fits between the recreational and competitive programs. Rhythm Cat is an introductory program that gives gymnasts the opportunity to train 3-6 hours a week and participate as individuals and/or as a small groups with the apparatus choices at their given age level. This program runs for 36 weeks September to June. Rhythm Cat focuses on Fun, Introduction to Competition, Physical Literacy, Technical Skill Preparation and Development, and Basic Body Skill Development. ACRO GYM - programs for boys and girls ages 4 years and older. These classes are 45 min-1.5 hours in length and are offered both in a 10 week sessions Fall, Winter and Spring or for the older children offered in a 36 weeks September to June program. These classes work on developing fundamental Acrobatic Gymnastics skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, bridges, running/jumping, object manipulation, fundamental tumbling and partner work. OUR COMPETITIVE PROGRAMS
RISING STARS - an advanced pre-competitive program for athletes age 4-5 years of age. This program is by recommendation only to the athletes who show early potential towards the national program. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time that works for your child.
PROVINCIAL/NATIONAL LEVEL - a high level competitive program for athletes 6 years and older. Gymnasts are catergorized according to ability and age and compete in individual and/or group programs using apparatus such as hoop, ball, ribbon, rope and clubs. Athletes interested in joining our WRGC Competitive Team require an assessment by Headcoach Miss Anna Patlosova. Please email email@example.com to set up a time that works for your child.
SUMMER RECREATIONAL CAMPS
Each summer WRGC offers camps for beginner and intermediate athletes ages 6-12, with or without gymnastics/dance experience. Choose from week long camps or drop-in. View the above DOWNLOADS tab to see programs that were offered in summer 2018.

FUN AND FITNESS PROGRAMS
SCHOOL BOOKINGS - WRGC offers a great opportunity for schools and daycares to participate in a fun educational program designed to promote health and fitness in our community. Our certified coaches have created an educational program that meets the Outcomes and Indicators in Physical Education as identified by the Saskatchewan Curriculum, as well as the Educational Objectives set out by Gymnastics Saskatchewan and Gymnastics Canada. Instruction will be delivered in a 30-60minute physical education classes that will help introduce children to the sport of rhythmic gymnastics. BIRTHDAY PARTY PACKAGE - Come and celebrate your child's birthday at Wascana Rhythmic Gymnastics Club. Our certified coaches will introduce the children to the sport of rhythmic gymnastics through the use of creative movement and movement exploration. This Fun and Fitness birthday package is about creating healthy movement patterns using hand held apparatus, fundamental gymnastic skills and techniques, and safety through physical literacy. These components will be taught in a fun and creative way using games and music. Children will use apparatus such as ropes, hoops, balls, ribbons, scarves and a parachute.
