The Regina Humane Society (RHS) is successful in finding homes for hundreds of pets every month. Each and every day puppies and kittens, cats and dogs bound from the shelter with their new families. Finding loving forever homes for the forgotten ones is much harder. This is a time when the public can be a lifesavers – they can find homes for those pets who wait day after day for a family.

Size, colour and age should never stand between a pet and a loving family. Between now and May 4, the Society is asking for help. VISIT HERE FOR DETAILS ON HOW YOU CAN HELP!

Oskana Cup promotes and supports Aboriginal Youth involved in competitive hockey. This is a healthy community event.  Volunteers welcome!

May is Speech and Hearing Month and there will be free hearing screenigs for anyone under 18, including newborns, at some of the local Regina Public Libraries.  Visit here for details.

Emerging and established designers will showcase original collections and the runway will be an exhibition of style and award winning talent. Design will be combined with emerging culinary, fashion, and creative trends in the SWAG Lounge, where you will be able sample and exclusive selection of products and services. For one day only, Saturday, May 12, from 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. the public will have free access to the SWAG Lounge experience.

Wings Over Wascana is an outdoor nature festival at Wascana Marsh offering free wetland and wildlife activities, entertainment, and guided hikes for people of all ages. The date of this annual festival coincides with the International Migratory Bird Day.
