The Regina Floral Conservatory is home to Regina's premiere indoor garden display and is open seven days a week from September to June.  During the operating season, you can find floral displays, family days, teas, and a variety of educational programming (from school tours to Lil' Gardeners Club).

LIL' GARDENERS CLUB

The Lil' Gardeners Club is open to children from birth to age five, and their parents and grandparents. The program provides a great opportunity for these preschoolers to experience the Conservatory and all it has to offer and for parents to get out of the house and meet other families.  Some of the activities include different stations for the kids (bubbles, sandbox, water table, story time, and more) and there are also plenty of toys from wheelbarrows to watering cans, and lawnmowers to little shovels. Children also get to plant and take home a plant. If you look carefully, you might even see an animal or two peeking out from the greenery as well!

SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Extend your classroom in Regina's only indoor tropical garden! Teachers are advised to book early to ensure that their classes take advantage of this special hands-on gardening experience. We invite you to visit the Regina Floral Conservatory.  We provide a learning program from pre-school to Grade Eight and we follow the Provincial School Science Guidelines closely. We also provide a program that is appropriate to the age and ability of our student visitors.  Click here for more information, or please call us to book!

FLORAL DISPLAYS

The main highlight of the Regina Floral Conservatory is the indoor floral display that is open to the public, free of charge, seven days a week from September to the start of June. There is a permanent collection of trees, shrubs and other plants that make up the foundation of the display. This permanent collection includes a variety of trees (from figs to Norfolk pines) and plants (birds of paradise, succulents, cacti, and more). Click here for more information on the Floral Displays, including the themes and dates for each display.

FAMILY DAYS

Families are invited to bring their children or grandchildren to enjoy our wonderful tropical setting at our Family Days. Activities include planting a plant to take home, arts and crafts, stories, learning about composting with worms, sand and dirt boxes to play in, and more depending on the theme.  Click here for more information on Family Days.

2015 Family Days will be January 18 and April 19.

TEAS

Each year, the RGA puts on five public teas at the Regina Floral Conservatory. Each tea has four sittings of an hour each where guests are treated to tea, coffee, and dainties and enjoy local entertainment right in the display of the Conservatory. Tickets are $8 and must be purchased in advance at the Conservatory.  The 2014 - 2015 dates are: October 26, December 7, February 8, March 29, and May 3.  Click here for more information on the RGA teas.
